Interview @andreanelisse

Interview @andreanelisse

Andrea (@andreanelisse) was born in Burgos and moved to Madrid at seventeen to study acting. She first stepped into the digital world at fifteen, starting a YouTube channel and exploring self-expression online. After taking time away during her studies, she returned a couple of years ago with a clearer intention: to share what truly moves her: everyday rituals, cinema, books, interiors, and fashion, all through a conscious lens and a keen eye for beauty and tenderness. Read the interview to get to know her better.

(001) STYLE

Q: What would you like people to feel when they see you, beyond what you are wearing?
A: I would like them to feel calm and trust. To sense a genuine connection, even through a screen.

Q: How has your style evolved in recent years?
A: My style has evolved tremendously. As a teenager, I was deeply connected to the world of fashion. I studied Arts at an Art School where fashion design was also taught, and I loved experimenting with textures, shapes, and colors in clothing. I felt very free when dressing, but I prioritized quantity over quality in order to create very different looks.

"Now I have a much more conscious approach to fashion. I prefer investing in essential yet distinctive pieces that truly feel like me. They may be a little more expensive, but their quality and materials mean they will stay with me for years and they make me feel comfortable."

(002) MIND

Q: What word has been repeating in your mind lately?
A: The word “network.” As you grow, your relationships transform, and I feel I am only now becoming aware of that. I think often about my network, and about who I want to be part of it.

Q: What makes you feel at home, even when everything around you changes?
A: Tenderness. Seeking small gestures of understanding and affection from the people I cherish. Even from afar, through a simple message or a call. I also find it in the gestures I offer myself each day. Even when everything feels uphill, I try to anchor myself in small things that make me feel well: resting, reading a book I love, returning to my favorite series, writing…

(003) CONSCIOUS INVENTORIES

Q: If this stage of your life had a texture, what would it be? And a color?
A: It would be the texture of linen: soft, light, and natural. The color would be beige, it's a tone that reflects the calm and presence I am experiencing now.

Q: A flavor, a sound, and a scent that define your present.
A: The flavor would be apple juice. The sound, a jazz playlist I have been listening to while working, which helps me concentrate. And the scent, without a doubt, Marrakech Intense by Aesop, the fragrance my partner has been wearing lately, which brings me a deep sense of peace.

Q: Remedies and rituals for late Winter / early Spring.
A: Above all, I like to slow down. I take advantage of the short winter days to rest, spend more time with myself, and develop projects that require long hours at home. Spring is always a season of blooming, of being outdoors and socializing more, and my body needs to restore its energy for those months. I also use this introspective time to write a letter to my future self, setting intentions and goals for the months ahead. Reading it a year later is always a gift.
